Services and Pricing - Dial-Up Access
With a ZipLink personal dial-up account, you can use popular software
such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator to view Web
pages, send and receive e-mail, and access newsgroups.
Dial-up accounts require a computer, modem, and access software (at this
time ZipLink can provide a copy of Internet Explorer for Windows 3.x and
95 free of charge upon registration). ZipLink's dial-up accounts use the
PPP protocol and offer dynamic addressing.
Check for an access number in your area. To sign-up
for any of these plans vist our Online Sign-Up Form
or call 1-617-507-4510.
ISDN refers to an all-digital telephone connection that many
local telephone companies make available to consumers. ISDN can increase
your access speed eight-ten fold. Many ZipLink access
numbers are ISDN-ready.
See our ISDN FAQ for information
about special requirements for setting up an ISDN account with ZipLink.
Please note that ZipLink does not provide support for ISDN beyond
account setup.
