Q. Can I put up a webpage on Ziplink?
A. Yes. Ziplink's standard ppp account comes with 5megs of space for
members to put up webpages. You can buy additional space if need.
Q. What would be the address of my webpage?
A. The address of your webpage would be:
htp://www.ziplink.net/~yourusername
So if your username was jondoe, the address would be:
http://www.ziplink.net/~jondoe.
Q. How do I write a webpage?
A. You would write your page in HTML.
In the Ziplink 101 area we have other usefull
information.
Q. After I get the page written how do I put it on Ziplink?
A. You would FTP it to your Ziplink directory. Go to FTP to
find out more.
Q. Does Ziplink let members setup CGI scripts?
A. Yes. CGIwrap is installed on Ziplink. To learn more about using
CGIwrap head over to Ziplink 101.
Q. Why when I go to my homepage do I get a Forbidden message?
A. Because Ziplink is using Unix file access is based upon permissions. You haven't
set the permissions correctly. You will need an FTP program that allows you to change
file permissions. Go to the FTP FAQ to learn more. Ziplink has
set the default for you www directory to allow your pages to be seen.
Q. Why, when I try to see my home page do I just get a listing of the files in my directory?
A. You need to rename the first page of your homepage to index.html. Ziplink web server is looking for this
file to send to anyone who comes to your webpage first. If you don't have it, then you will just see the
listing of your file.

A. Yes Ziplink offers domain registration for an extra fee. Go to Domain Registration or
to Ziplink Products.
