Club Officers 1997 - 1998 ___________________  Club Committees                                                   

The Bay State Heisey Collectors Club meets monthly except July & August on the second Tuesday evening each month.
The meetings are held at the Follen Community Church, 755 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington MA., starting at 7:30 PM
with a half-hour social & refreshment period followed by a business meeting at 8:00 PM.   There's a "Show & Tell" session
immediately after the business meeting where club members and guests show off their latest finds.  After a short break for
some more refreshments, the educational program is presented.  The program & activities for 1998 follow:
 
    January 13, 1998 -    Video Night; view & discuss the latest videos on Heisey glass.
    February 10, 1998 -   Heisey by the Numbers! - From 1 to 149; examples of the diverse items in this number range.
    March 10, 1998 -       Heisey Master Engravers - Emil Krall Jr.; a brief  history of his life and examples of his work.
    April 14, 1998 -         Heisey Cruets; examples of and discussion about more than 40 different cruets.
    April 25-26, 1998  The 20th Annual Bay State Heisey Show & Sale; JFK Middle School, Waltham MA.
    May 12, 1998 -          Internet Night; Heisey in Cyberspace; Buying and Selling; the BSHCC Home Page debuts!
    June 9, 1998 -           Heisey Individual Cream & Sugar sets; Toy sets.  Also individual sets by Cambridge, Fostoria,
                                     Duncan & Miller,  Imperial, Tiffin, etc.
    June 16-20, 1998 -    National HCA Convention, Newark, OH
    July 1998 -                No Meeting.
    August 1998 -            No Meeting.
    September 8, 1998 -  Bring n' brag night - Club members bring in their summer finds.
    October 13, 1998  -   Show us your collection:  Three club members present highlights from their personal collections.
    November 10, 1998 - The Annual Auction - donated items are auctioned off; proceeds to benefit HCA.
    December 1998 -       No meeting; Annual Holiday Party; location TBA.
