  • DURING YOUR STAY

    Accommodations

  • Guests staying overnight are required to bring their own toiletries, including soap, and personal articles, and casual clothing. An extra sweater or something warm is suggested as the furnace has a mind of its own when it comes to distributing the heat evenly! In the summer guests are encouraged to bring their own fans. Guests should bring their own bed linen (twin sheets and pillowcase) and towels, unless linen rental has been requested by the group. Many opt to bring a sleeping bag instead of sheets.

    Miscellaneous Supple Needs

The Oakhurst Coordinator or other designated person will be available if you need assistance during your weekend stay. This person will be able to help you locate extra items such as toilet paper or light bulbs, contact the caterer if necessary, refer you to local stores, gas stations, or restaurants, and will be able to contact the maintenance person in emergencies.

    Use of the Telephone

Local phone calls may be made from the phone located in the sunroom of the Manor House next to the soda machine. Two pay phones are provided for your convenience - one in the Manor house on the second floor across from Rms. #206-207 and one in the Villa near the first floor door to the Conference Room. Both pay phones receive incoming calls, so during your stay you may wish to notify those at home of the telephone numbers. The main phone number (508) 234-0346 can be left with spouses, parents, or children at home for emergency purposes. There is a voice-mail service on this line and messages will be checked periodically throughout the weekend.

  • No Smoking

We want to provide our guests with a non-smoking environment; guests who choose to smoke are required to do so outdoors. Receptacles are placed at each of the exits for disposal of cigarette butts.

  • Manor House

The first floor of the Manor House consists of a large conference room (comfortable capacity of 75), a living room, chapel, dining room, and a sunroom.
