Although METRATEK radars are designed to avoid the need for expensive facilities dedicated to radar cross section measurements, METRATEK's senior staff have designed and contributed to the design of a variety of radar cross section measurement ranges. We are aware of the many pitfalls and costly mistakes that can be made, and can provide range design service to customers who wish to learn from the past. This in-depth experience includes:

METRATEK also offers range diagnosis services that use the portable Model 200 radar to measure and diagnose range performance. This includes high-resolution imaging diagnosis of target support poles, bounce paths, and multipath, and quantification of background noise and clutter problems. The Model 200 can also offer an extra measurement channel for indoor or outdoor ranges, or for targets that are too large for measurement with current site facilities.
