RADAR:       Most of the 20 radars that METRATEK has built are Model 200 radars built for radar cross section (RCS) diagnostic imaging. Many of these radars have been used on the B-2 program. The Model 200 radar has earned a reputation as the world's most flexible radar because of the wide variety of tasks that it can perform.

      We build two types of airborne synthetic aperture radars (SAR):

• AIRSAR was designed to  measure aircraft radar cross section (RCS) in flight and
• WINSAR performs wide band Interferometric SAR imaging. Both can perform rapid measurements of ship radar cross section from airborne or surface platforms.

SONAR:     FLOSS is a high-resolution mine-hunting SONAR system that we developed for DARPA and the U.S. Navy. It successfully passed a Navy OPEVAL using real mines  during DESERT STORM.

PROPAGATION MEASUREMENT SYSTEM:      MIPROMS was developed for the Naval Surface Warfare Center to measure the effects of the ocean environment on low-altitude microwave propagation over the sea.

 UXO DETECTION SYSTEMS:     METRATEK's system for detecting land mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) consists of a wide band Ground-Penetrating Radar with real-time underground imaging, three Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) sensors, and a high-quality Differential GPS system in a 4-wheel-drive vehicle.
