About UsThis page was created to help get feedback from the Quake community so that people can better focus their work resulting in a superior gaming experience. We have always enjoyed taking short, anonymous polls, and getting to see what other people have said. We will host a variety of polls, hoping that they will get enough response to make the results useful. We hope to accept requests from individuals or groups who want to get feedback to help them develop their product. If, for instance, you were developing a new Quake II weapon mod, and wanted to get an idea of what people wanted to see (projectile, cannon, sniper, medieval, etc.) you might e-mail us asking for us to set up the poll. If we thought that the poll could be valuable, or interesting, we would accept the offer and create a page explaining your purpose with a bunch of radio buttons. Anyone who takes the poll can see the current results, and when the poll is ended, the results would be posted. Short, quick, fun, and anonymous.About the PageTo have the best viewing experience, we recommend that you use a resolution of 800x600 or higher. If you must use 640x480, then please maximize your viewing space by removing toolbars, menus, etc. from your browser window. Your browser should support frames and tables, or else you will not be able to see information as it was intended. The page looks best on Internet Explorer 4.0, but has equal functionality in Navigator 4.0 without the nice flashy bits. At this point the page is untested on any other browsers, although we don't think it should be a problem. If you think that something doesn't look or work the way it should, and you are using another browser (anything but the latest) send us some mail, and we will try to work things out. |
