Tom tailors each guitar to the specific needs of his customers. Petite customers often request small-bodied guitars with shorter scale lengths and narrow fretboards. Others prefer guitars specially tuned to the acoustic needs of the recording or concert hall artist. Prices start at $1600 for East Indian rosewood classicals and $2200 for Brazilian rosewood classicals or flamenco negras.

OM/Auditorium Style Steel-String

These guitars are very popular for finger picking. Tom completed a commission for one with a cedar top, curly cherry back and sides and removable bolt-on neck. It had an environmentally friendly water-based finish and the tone was loud and sweet. Prices start at $1400.

Flamenco

Thomas Knatt has a special affinity for flamenco guitars because he has played flamenco for 35 years, and welcomes discussion and new falsetas from anyone. He plays mostly the "old school" material but always likes something new. Prices start at $1400.
