Well maybe you could, and then again maybe I could be some handsome billionaire off for a tour of the world on my personal jet. But we all gotta get comfortable with reality at some point, now don't we.

Why, he be me of course. If you really need to know something about me, I'm a constantly busy albeit fairly anonymous little beaver in a niche of the Internet business, having worked for the past six years in this industry in a variety of roles for several companies, a couple of them I'm quite sure you've heard of (but I don't work and tell). Right now I'm holding down a management role in information systems for my current queue of bosses. Though as is typical for a Zippy, my ever wandering hands hover over quite a few cookie jars. I just can't help myself; those cookies 'em damn tasty!

But this is the more boring side of me, particularly when it comes down to me having to talk about it. Still, it's a lot of fun to do. Geeky but fun.

Presently and for the foreseeable future, the busiest you'll find me outside of work but still online is at a great PDA Community site called PDABuzz.com. It's particular focus should tell you a little about the gadget addiction I battle. I volunteer my time moderating several discussion forums on PDABuzz, and occasionally when I'm unable to catch some sleep, hack out and post a ditty there on some vaguely PDA-based topic.

I don't have a lot online right now worthy of showing off. (Well, actually I have a lot of stuff online that's constantly in the public eye, but little of it I'm willing to admit to...)

However I recently upgraded my Compaq Aero 1530, which is -- or was -- a Palm-size PC running Windows CE, to Microsoft's Pocket PC (Windows CE 3.0). In honor of this, and becuz few of the reviews or reports about the Pocket PC have the guts to bother showing off the grey-scale side of things, I've put up my very own Pocket PC pages, where I link to screenshots of the new Pocket OS on the Aero 1500s. There's also now links to info on its more colorful new brother as well.

For my good samaritan act of the year, I've turned up All of the Pocket PCs Software List, which I hope will be of use to more than a few Pocket PC owners.
