While visiting Ringo and his family in Liverpool, 1988, I had this picture taken while posing for a statue in
the land of my forefathers and foremothers.

Speaking of my forefathers, here is the memorial marker of my multi - great grandfather
Gabriel. Engraved above the family crest are the words:
Here lyeth the body of Gabriel Egles esquire
who departed this life the 7th day of August 1707
and in the sixty fifth year of his age.
Gramps apparently didn't leave me any money but the good town folk of Uckfield, Sussex, England
saw fit to name a street in his honor

The next ten years saw me driving the length and breadth of North America in the famous U2.
I drove through 48 states and most of O'Canada, my home and native land.

James, Grace, Sarah, and Tessie enjoy the view from CN tower in Toronto.

A few years ago my friends, Randy and Mary Kay, along with their four children moved from Houston
to Doha, Qatar and said " Bob, Y'all come over and visit".
