Israel Folkdance Festival of Boston Every March at MIT in Cambridge.  Troupes perform Israeli folk dances before enthusiastic audience.
Lowell Folk Festival One weekend every July in downtown Lowell, Mass.  The largest free folk festival in the U.S., three days of traditional music and dance, street parades, dance parties, ethnic foods, and craft demonstrations.
National Folk Festival The oldest folk festival in the country, going strong since 1934.  Lowell enjoyed it so much, the city started its own festival (see above).
