DECplus LogoDECplus Picnic on the Charles River - September '97

On Sunday, September 27th at 11:00 am the DECplus crowd got together for their annual birthday celebration which was held on the Charles. About 15 people showed up to the event where lots of food was laying about, horseshoes (with kids plastic horseshoes which blow away in the wind) and great conversation. It was a blast! The weather was perfect.... about 85° and very sunny. And the DECplus banner could be seen clearly from the parking lot!

But a lot of work goes into these things and luckily we had Tom Evans on the job. He was able to pull this all together in a very short period of time. Just click on his name and drop him a line. And if you missed the picnic, you missed a LOT of fun!

And thanks to Steve Glaser and his lover Jim Stenoish you can catch up on some of the things you missed out on! Why? Because they were smart enough to bring a Digital camera with them! Instant pictures!

Allan, Rich, Jim and Bruce
Allan is resting, Rich is looking for something to do, and Jim and Bruce are keeping things going!
Evan
Evan takes a time out of challenging everyone to horseshoes!
Evan, Carol and Justin
Evan, Carol and Justin....¾ of the family. Where is Shellie?
Evan, Glen and Justin
Evan is trying to boot Glen out from playing horseshoes, while his brother Justin tries to drag Glen off to play with him.
Glen and Evan
Glen is losing at horeshoes, so he tries to cheat by stopping Evan from making his tosses!
Jim, Bruce and Jim
Three very happy people at the picnic....Jim, Bruce and Jim. It was nice to see them all relaxing.
Jim, Shellie, Carol and Justin
Jim stares at the camera (oh what else is new), Shellie and Carol (the happy couple) spend time with Justin.
Steve and Jim
Steve, one of the cameramen, is talking with yet another picture of our Mr. Lundy! Man, he sure is popular!
Tom
And the man who pulled it all together....Tom Evans.
Thanks for getting it all organized, Tom!

As you can see we have a lot of fun at these events. You should seriously think about attending the next event as you won't be disapointed!
