Janary 5, 1999 update

She was pretty agitated today. The nurses weren't able to put her into shorts or shirt because of it. From talking to the OT she gets worse when she is left alone in the room and tends to settle down somewhat when there is someone in there, they don't have to be doing anything just be there with her. She smiled at me when I came in today (first real smile she has made that I have seen). Read a bunch, watched a Supersport 600 motorcycle race (can you believe that they have Speedvision on the hospital cable) and listened to some music.

Looks like we are supposed to get snow flurries tonight/tomorrow down here in Newport News and might be a bit icy on the roads from Richmond to Newport News so I might stay in Richmond tonight depending on the weather.
