Janary 7 and 8, 1999 update

Pretty slow going the last couple of days, Su has been really out of it. Mostly sleeping. Trying some different medications to control her agitation but still keep her awake and not zoned out all the time.

Not sure what Mark (her PT) said to her but it actually got her to grin yesterday. Then we sat her up on the edge of the bed and I got to sit next to her and help hold her up. Can't tell you how special that felt, just to sit together with my arm around her. I never realized how much we take the simple little things for granted and how much they really mean. She tolerated that for about 15 minutes then wanted to lie down. Asked her some yes and no questions (using the finger method to answer) and she did well, mostly about where she was born and things like that.
