Some exciting news!
Welcome Thierry Bidault, our
new managing director.
In the 1980's he worked for Le Splendid, the famous
cafe-theatre in Paris!
Someone who can really make a difference!
New and equally exciting news to report!
A Great Relief to All!

As time permits, I am adding links to
web sites of these theatres and organizations that Didier and Monique visited,
so you can have a reference for the theatrical and dancd company riches
of Canada. Of the links added already, I really like the Flak site
and the Harbourfront sites.

Invited by the Embassy of Canada in Washington -- as
recipients of the Canadian/Washington Theatre Partnership 2000 grant --
we spent ten truly enriching days in Montreal, Quebec City,
and Toronto.
We met many talented theatre people and saw thought-provoking plays and dance performances.
We are grateful to Louise Blais, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Canada, her colleagues, and the Helen Hayes awards for having organized our trip with such care. And we are grateful to all the theatre people who welcomed us so graciously, and took time, despite their busy schedules, to talk about their work, to show their venues, to introduce us to new plays, and much more.....
We came back energized with more projects than ever!
And we came back with a choice for our third production of Le Neon's 2000-2001 Season:
"Les Cloisons"
by
Jacques Languirand

for Languirand Biography Link
Les Cloisons is a fascinating short piece for two actors, one a man, the other a woman.....
This play about dreams, fantasies, and encounters withll allow us to work creatively on atmosphere, movement, and scengraphy, as we so much enjoy doing.
Our thanks to those who kindly received us during our Canada Visit!
We met with these people and
organizations -- and attended these shows:
