Hello New England Traders! I hope everyone had a nice fall tour and was able to catch at least one of the wonderful shows Phish did for us. This tree is our biggest yet and will include 3 shows from the fall tour. The first will be the imfamous 11-2-98 Salt Lake City show where Phish covered Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. The second show will be 11-27-98 Worcester, MA and the final show will be 11-29-98 Worcester MA. These are arguably 3 of the top 5 shows from the fall and will definitely make a nice addition to everyone's tape collection.

Here's the lowdown for these shows. 11-2-98 was recorded with Neumann KM 184 mics -> Graham Patton custom Preamp->Tascam DA-P1. It sounds very nice despite the sub-optimal acoustics of the E Center. 11-27-98 was recorded with Schoeps CMC6/MK4->Lunatec V2->ADC 20-> Tascam DA-P1. This one sounds phenomenal. 11-29-98 comes from Microtech Geffel m210 (hypercard)-> Oade M248B Custom Preamp-> Modified HHB PDR-1000 Portadat and sounds just as nice. All 3 shows will require 1 90 minute tape and 1 110 minute tape. REPEAT, THESE SHOWS REQUIRES 110 MINUTE BLANKS. Please only sign up for this tree if you can use/send 110 minute blanks. All blanks must be Maxell XL II or better.

To sign up for this tree, please complete the application below and return it no later that Friday, December 4th to Will Herrmann (wherrman@polar.bowdoin.edu). This tree will support both analog and digital branches so DAT people please sign up for this one! Please sign up as a branch only if you have good quality recording gear and are willing to make at least 3 sets of copies. I anticipate a lot of sign-ups for this one and only want branches who are willing to handle their share of the work load. That said, on with the application:
