FORCES AND MOTION
- PART
II |
|
TEXTBOOK: Chapter 4, Section 4.6, pages 96 - 102.
OBJECTIVES:
Exhibit proper procedures in solving problems dealing
with multiple forces.
Draw a free-body diagram indicating the forces acting on a body when given a force problem.
Calculate
the acceleration of a system of connected bodies and determine the tension
in a cord connecting two isolated masses.
State the
relationship between a frictional force and the normal force.
Determine the coefficients of static and kinetic friction by performing an experiment on an inclined plane.
Solve
problems dealing with sliding and kinetic friction.
