CURRENT
EQUIPMENT: A Meade 10" SCT on a modified MI-250 mount, 8" f/4 Newtonian,
and
a assortment of photo lens from 100mm to 400mm. An ST-4 is used for guiding
sometimes with a GEG for
work at shorter focal lengths or a B&L 4000 piggybacked on the main
scope. For CCD work I use a ST-237
with a color filter wheel with either a f/6.3 or f/3.3 focal reducer. A
recent addition to my equipment
is a Lumo Astel 102mm Mak Newtonian that is good for wide field CCD work.
I find that the ST-237 to be
a very good entry level CCD camera. This last Fall I added a warm room
to the original observatory building
and this has made life more comfortable.
