We have a special guest for this edition of Cline's Corner -- Teresa's here to add some
insight into the 1998 Winter Olympics! We're both really looking forward to this year's Olympiad.
There's nothing like settling in on the couch every four years to watch some of our favorite
events: hockey, alpine skiing, luge and of course, figure skating!
Today, we'll both be making our predictions of the medal winners for all four figure skating
events. The real competition is here at Cline's Corner: which Cline will be the better prognosticator?

It looks like there's quite a bit of overlap in these predictions! We both expect the World Champion,
Elvis Stojko, to crash and burn on the Olympic ice. Our ice dance predictions are identical -
was Chris peeking at Teresa's notes? Hmmm... Teresa's long-shot hopeful for a medal is China's
Chen Lu, the bronze medal winner from the 1994 Olympics and the 1995 World Champion.
She's had a rough couple of years, but with her talent and experience, it would be foolish
to count her out!
Well, that's it for this week! Coming soon: More Olympic predictions...
the NCAA B'Ball Tourney...
Should the Red Sox keep the hypocritical Mo Vaughn or peddle him for
all they can get?...Enough of the Tiger Woods hype...and much
much more! !
