Thelma,
Welcome to the perplexing-but-intriguing world of Chinese genealogy. I am glad I was able to further your genealogical search. I am a newbie myself in genealogy.
It appears that your search may be leading you to the walled villages of the New Territories area of Hong Kong. I did a bit of further snooping on the internet.....it appears that the Tang surname is dominant in the Lung Yeuk Tau area, but there is a famous Leung Ancestral Hall in the area.....I believe Leong, Leung and Liang are interchangeable Anglicized spelling of the same Chinese character surname —À.
Also, perhaps you already know this already, but here is a link to a great website on the Leong family tree: http://www.angelfire.com/co/leong/
Anyway, my parents are from the Xinhui District of Guangdong Province. I have traveled to my ancestral village several times already. I live in Makakilo.
Aloha,
Raymond
