David Hume rules

Well I've been reading a lot of D. Hume lately and as you the reader will eventually find out my nature is staunchly irreligious, however people have a right to be as idiotic as possible and believe whatever they want! Is it possible that by willing something and devoting your life to a certain belief you actually create that desired world?Dont think so!!!! So back to the Man D.Hume. Well the thing that I really like about the man is the way he capsized religion. One would think that religion itself would have died out years ago-would have killed itself-fed on it's own absurd drivel and choked!!! But Nooo!!!! There was plenty of drivel available and plenty of willing automatons devoid of the ability to think for themselves who gladly and desperately drank it down!!!!
So back to the Man D.Hume. This whole Empiricism thing really interests the hell out of me anyways. The time period I am speaking of was the beginning of the Age of Reason. The Scholastic period was finally over! Religion ruled then. This means of course they controlled the money and used it just as corruptly if not more than your capitalists of today. But this was done under a incredibly thick cloud of insanity and superstition. Some of the rationalizations for god and other absurd rituals were so ridiculous I suppose you just had to believe it. What the hell! What a scam!
Back to the Man. Empiricism - what we know can only come from the senses and that cannot even be trusted - our mind is a blank slate receiving impressions of which there is no connection to other impressions. No reason to assume that the sun will shine tommorrow!
Now I'm not saying this is the final word-they aint no final word in this philosophy thing-to a large extant it is (philosophy) purely impractical wordplay.
