The Ancient Tongue is a very complicated language, and if you don't feel like learning it, don't. Only the nobility, scholars, and other people of high wisdowm or office should need to learn more than a few words in it. Most Sylvans are expected to know at least a few words though. Expect two or three new phrases at this site every day. Check back frequently to learn todays. Also, it's possible that some of these phrases aren't grammatically correct. Also, check out Okasa's Scroll, where you can find a dictionary for Sylvan, the standard language for Sylvans today. If you want to learn more Ancient Speech, Try this scroll. It has complete grammar info as well as a very long wordlist. Most of the words I use above are not found on this wordlist, as they are compound words (eg. Nenyatol comes from Nenya meaning Watery and Tol meaning Island.) Combination of words to form names and such should doesn't seem to be butchery of a language to me, so I spose it is OK :)
